Things I've learned in my 7th grade year

Entering the 7th grade is a challenge for me. It is my first time entering a public school and in our first day of class it is so weird because like I just said I do not have any experience with it but everyday I go to school I always learn new things not just in academics but also on having a confidence in showing what I can do even in simple things. It is so hard to adjust but I thank the Lord for always giving me guidance and strength in my life as well in my studies.

Things that I've learned in my 7th grade is that I should always choose who I will be friends with because I know that not everyone will accept and love me. I should give MORE time and effort in my studies because I'm in 7th grade now though we all know it is very stressful not just like in our 6th grade and that I should also be responsible especially when it's all about studying because it is now a big role to everyone of us who are in Highschool Life like me.

Thank you to our teachers who helped us to cope up with the lessons, who is there to guide us, to support us even when there is a contest like the KABAKA 2018. We promise you that every lesson you taught us will always be in our hearts.

It may be very stressful and tiring but at the end of the day it will always be worth it. We should not forget to enjoy every moment we take because it can be one of our unforgettable memories. Study hard, enjoy, and give your best in everything! As our school motto says, "Believe in and Work for the best." God bless everyone!!

Julio started writing a letter for Ka Ponso about Jose that is in sixth grade now. "Since he's quite a poor hand at looking after your carabaos, I thought it would be best that he go to school in the town" Julio added. He didn't add that Jose had to miss a year of school since coming here to Mindoro. 😊 The story of Jose is somewhat common to some of us in our true life story. Nowadays, we could see people especially youths, who are really determined to pursue their dreams. They are willing to work even though its hard for them. The story was quite inspiring because it encourages unfortunate people to believe in their dreams, that their position in life is not a reason to give up and despite to their financial problems. This also teaches people to keep in their...
